I am Sam Valdez and here’s my first blog.
I come from a multiracial background, African-American, Mexican, white; and most importantly, a sneakerhead. My passion for sneakers started when I was 10 and got my first pair of Adidas Sambas at the local flea market. Ever since that day, my passion for sneakers has grown hotter than young love, hotter than a June bride, you get the point. I’m a 21-year-old broke college student who enjoys looking at sneakers I can’t afford and appreciating the history behind each pair. As a child, I was never sure what I wanted to be when I grew up. Being a doctor, police or astronaut seemed overrated; I want to write about sneakers.
